Vucic: We will have to make our own decisions unless state reacts to terror

BELGRADE - Aleksandar Vucic, who heads the Aleksandar Vucic-United Serbia electoral list, called on state authorities on Tuesday to do their job and react to cases of terror against the people and announced that, unless there was a reaction from the authorities, the Serbian Progressive Party would have to make its own decisions and self-organise.
"Unless the state reacts, we will have to make our own decisions in the coming days," he said in a comment on Monday's storming of the building of the Informer television station by Student List supporters.
"In case they decide to continue the terror against dissenters, the beatings, the demolitions and everything else, and the state authorities take no action, we will be forced to self-organise. And they should know that they will be fully responsible for that," Vucic said.
He asked the state authorities to do their job regardless of whether "they like someone or not."
"You are under an obligation to operate as state authorities do, whether you like someone or not. That thing yesterday was horrible, it was only after the Police Brigade troops arrived that (Informer Editor-in-Chief) Dragan Vucicevic's life was saved," Vucic said.
