Student List candidate lawyer Sara El Sarag told N1 that she informed the police that public procurement documents were being destroyed at the Health Ministry.
She said she received information that papers were being destroyed in the ministry's public procurement department but did not know whether the police would act on her report.
Her statement comes amid growing allegations of document destruction at state institutions.
The Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Novi Sad has ordered police to take measures to prevent the possible destruction of official records, following reports involving several institutions, including the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund (PIO).
Supreme Public Prosecutor Zagorka Dolovac has also instructed prosecutors across the country to urgently request police action to protect official documents.
El Sarag also raised questions about alleged transfers of funds involving Alta Bank and Postal Savings Bank.
The National Bank of Serbia said it continuously monitors banks' financial soundness and legality of operations but cannot disclose sensitive information about individual cases.
She said the Student List wanted to restore public institutions, not seek revenge.
